Catching up!

It has been WAY 

too long since I have posted, but school has been consuming my life, especially my blogging time! :) 

I am down to one last class this semester-PRAISE THE LORD!

Full time school, online was a bigger challenge then I was expecting, but God has been faithful to get us through another season. 

I am looking forward to a break over the holidays before starting up more classes. 

J's family is coming for Thanksgiving so we are excited to see our Miami family after all these months!

Lately, I have been learning the beauty of the absolute truth of God word!

Studying psychology is fascinating- I'm in love with it! But more than that, I have gained an appreciation for the Bible. To me, this world offers nothing but change, different perspectives, and uncertainty. I am thankful for God's unwavering PROMISES, His HOPE offered in eternity, and PURPOSE to get us through this "temporary home." 

I am reading a book by C.S. Lewis and observing his life before and after conversion, and it was amazing to me how the Lord CHANGED HIS LIFE! Before God- hopelessness, misery, and fear. After God- purpose, joy and meaning. What BEAUTY our GOD has to offer us!

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17

"My our Lord Jesus Christ himself ad God our father encourage you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. God loved us and through His grace he gave us a good hope and encouragement that continues forever."

P.s. In 2 months we will have a 3 year old in the house. WHAT IN THE WORLD?! Time flies!
