The day has come!
I started training for the Chicago half marathon!
Race day is June 4th, which means I have 10
weeks to get my lazy self back into shape!
I did 2 miles on Monday and 3 on Tuesday, which is huge progress for me :)
Working out has not been a regular thing for me since little Jonelle...
if she only knew the sacrifices I make for her! :)
I'm sure this smiling face will keep me goin!
Jay is running it too and training with me, which is WONDERFUL!
He has been my inspiration and motivation so far and
its so fun to do it TOGETHER.
We are also running the Soldier Field 10k with my Dad and
brother Jeremy the week before, so that will be a memory to remember!
I got my new fancy shmancy running shoes
and a goal SET! No turning back now.
