Gift to my daughter

One of the many reasons why I decided to start this blog, was so that I could pass it down to Jonelle one day. I want to journal life lessons that God is teaching me and more importantly I thought it would be a great way to look back and see The Lord's continuous faithfulness to our family. I would love to print this all out one day and give it to my baby girl as a wedding present (Lord willing He will give her an amazing husband in the future!). I want to be able to share our marriage with her, our struggles and victories, and I want her to be able to remember her childhood and how she changed our lives in so many ways. It's a way that I can share my life, interests, passions, fears, and my heart with her.


So, Jonelle- I want you to know that your mom loves you with her whole heart and you (and your daddy) are the best gifts that God has given me. You bring so much joy into my life and you bring smiles and laughter into our home. I desire for you to know your Creator and to experience his deep and everlasting love for you. I hope and pray that I am an example to you of a Godly woman who loves her Lord, her husband, and everyone around her. I learn so much through watching and taking care of you. You melt my heart everyday (even when you wake us up at the crack-of-dawn!) and you truly have made me a better woman- and you don't even realize it because you are not even 2 yet! :)


I love going to the park with you, running errands together, doing our make-up and hair, cleaning the house, swimming in the pool, watching movies, and cooking with you. You keep me company all day long, I probably wouldn't even know what to do a whole day without you! I love your hugs and kisses and I love that you can finally say, "mommy." You have brought out a whole other side of daddy- he would literally lay down his life for you. Just know that you are very well protected :)


Know that we love you always and will support you no matter what. I pray daily that God would give me wisdom to raise you according to His Word. You are sooooo cute, joyful, spunky, sweet, and we would be lost with out you. You will always be mommy's little princess! I love you so much!
