"Daddy's Girl"

I decided that it was time to dedicate my next post to my husband and father of my baby! This is for you babe!

I am beyond grateful for the man that God has blessed me with! Yes, as my husband, but also as Jonelle's daddy! She is one lucky girl! J is one of the most hands-on-dads that I have ever known. He is involved in EVERY aspect of raising Jonelle from changing diapers to waking up in the middle of the night to purely PLAYING HARD with her! He loves this little girl more than life itself and he would do ANYTHING to protect her and make sure her world is great!

When he found out that he was going to be a father, (especially to a girl!!!) he was terrified at the thought of not being a good dad, but WOW- what an AWESOME one he is! He has blown me away with his gentleness, yet firm discipline for little "jelly-bean" and for the JOY he has found in parenting.

I catch him all the time giving her extra kisses when she is asleep and waking up frantically in the middle of the night if he hears her make a peep. She is his treasure from God!

There is nothing more entertaining than watching these 2 play together! Either I find J in her crib, or laying flat on his back in the middle of the kitchen floor, or hiding under the bed, or passed out on the couch with her, or surrounded by a mound of toys and pillows- it's always a surprise to come home to them! :)

All this to say, that I am so grateful that Jonelle is growing up with such an amazing Father! He is truly an example of a godly man to her!! What more could I ask for?! He prays for her salvation every single day, makes decisions ALREADY to make sure that she will be taken care of in the future, dreams BIG for her, gives her all his extra time and attention, and shows her off to the world! Jonelle- you have a daddy who LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!!!! J treats his 2 girls better than we could dream of and we are so lucky to have him as our leader!

WE LOVE YOU BABE! THANKS FOR BEING YOU AND DOING ALL YOU DO FOR US!!!
