Miami Bound!

We will be going to Trinity International University for our bachelors degree in elementary education as well as doing ministry at University Baptist Church with Pastor Ray. It's a decision that we have gone back and forth about for 2 years, since we've been married, and we finally feel like it's the right time to go. God always has a way of guiding us and leading us towards His plan for our lives! There is noting that compares to the PEACE of God! We definitely learned lots of lessons and grew a lot as a couple and as a family during our time here in Chicago! We made so many memories, made lots of amazing friends, and watched our little Jonelle grow from a precious newborn

to a spunky, lively, loving toddler!! crazy!!

God has provided for us here above and beyond what we could have asked or imagined! From receiving a free car to cheap housing to awesome jobs! That's just WHO our FATHER is!!! We trust that He will continue to provide for us as we make this next step of faith as well! We are praying for school, work, and babysitting schedules to all come together as well as a strong group of friends and community we can grow with. These last 2 weeks are bitter sweet for me, especially. Saying goodbye to my home for so many years- family, friends, neighborhoods, etc. is really really hard and sad, but looking forward to this journey that we are about to embark on is so exciting at the same time! These past few weeks have been full of beach days,

lots of work, school for my hubby, spending time with friends and family, downsizing BIG time, PRAYER, tears... (on my part lol), watching the LAKERSSSSS!!! :) some fun dates, good conversations, and making the best of our last month in Chicago!

We can't wait to see what amazing things God has in store! I know that it will be a challenge- full time school and work for both of us, along with our little precious Jonelle, and ministry too- but we are more than confident that God is going to make us stronger through all of it, draw us closer to one another, and use us for His glory most of all! I figured that starting a blog would be a good way to stay in contact with everyone and allow you to be involved in our lives from a distance. It will be awesome to read and look back on past posts and see how far we have come and how far God has brought us! Keep us in your prayers! :)
